Ironman 70.3 Eagleman
"A precursor to IRONMAN Maryland, and partaking of much of the same course, this race has been popular among triathletes based in the area for years. Traversing through the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and the historic streets of Cambridge, there is no shortage of sites to see while on course. Combine that with the welcoming community of athletes and locals, and this is a race for everyone.'"
July 9 - 10
Sprint Tri, Spring Du, Olympic Tri, Half Distance Tri
"Williamsburg, Virginia is home to famous Colonial Williamsburg, the nation’s largest living history museum that introduces visitors to life in 18th century America. The swim will take place in the Chickahominy river. The [bike course] terrain is enough to give athletes time out of the saddle and to keep the ride interesting but won’t overly tax your legs for the run. The entire run is on the newly completed Virginia Capital Trail, a 52-mile dedicated multi-use, paved trail connecting Richmond and Williamsburg along the historic and beautiful Route 5 corridor. After the first mile, the tall trees on either side of the trail provide ample shade for the flat run course. The bridge at the very beginning and end will provide a challenging start and finish to the run leg. "
August 20 - 21

Built in the early 1970’s, the park has a 34-acre lake with fishing, boating, hiking and a white sand beach for swimming making Lake Arrowhead an ideal place for a triathlon!"
"Races are on a traditional cyclocross course with pavement, grass, hills, gravel, man-made barriers, and one double pit area. It’s the venue you know and love. DCCX is held on the historic grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home, the site of President Lincoln’s Summer Cottage and a residential community for United States veterans since 1851."
Waterman's Triathlon Festival
October 1 - 2
Rock Hall, MD
Half, Olympic, and Sprint Distance Triathlon, Aquabike, and Relays
"The Waterman’s Triathlons are nestled on the edge of the Eastern Shore of Maryland in picturesque Rock Hall, MD. Just 18 miles from Baltimore “as the fish swims” (put your bike rack on a boat!), Rock Hall is one of the friendliest, most laid back towns anywhere…and is full of history. George Washington took the Annapolis Ferry to Rock Hall nearly ten times before heading to Philly on horseback to work out America’s Independence! The swim takes place in Rock Hall Harbor on the Chesapeake Bay, protecting athletes from any serious wind or chop. The bike course is a triathlete’s dream with beautiful ribbons of pavement and wide shoulders throughout most of the rural course. The run course is pancake flat and takes athletes through the quaint nautically themed neighborhoods and side roads of Rock Hall, MD."
